One of the pleasures of February was meeting in person, here at Westbury Manor, the two young founders of the Centre for Leadership Development in Armenia - see the case study on the imaginative use they are making of my work in Effective Leadership Development (2005).

Armenia is an example of what private initiative can do in a small country (the population is 2.9 million). In my role as the first Professor of Leadership Studies I am out to encourage such developments. The Leadership School that Professor Pelcynski founded in Poland more than ten years ago is another shining example of what can be done with a little imagination and leadership.
